I've started painting the leaves of my Audrey II sculpture, but I'm not sure about my choice of colours. I'm wondering if I've got too much variation and should paint over the yellow leaves and possibly the blue ones too. What do you think?
I've started painting the polymer clay Audrey II. The first photo is just with the base green colour and the second photo shows the details that I've painted so far. I've still got to add some more detail to the head, but I think I'll be painting the leaves and vines next.
I started making some sculptures out of polymer clay today. My sister is going to have some indoor pot plants, and I thought an Audrey II would be adorable in one of the pots, so I'm making this for her. I made these eggs a couple of years ago out of polystyrene eggs and drawing pins/thumbtacks that I painted with nail polish. The wreath in the second photo was made by my sister. Have a fantastic Easter!
This card is for my grandma whose birthday is next week. It depicts a native Australian fairywren surrounded by Australian flowers. In case you haven't noticed, I'm Australian. The images were handcut out of the black card and I added the colours to the back afterwards. I really love how this turned out, especially with… Continue reading Fairywren Card
