Theses are cards that I made for some of my relatives recently. They are both my own original designs and handcut from paper using a scalpel.
This rose card was for my aunt. The colours are added beneath the cut black paper, and then I attached another black piece of paper to the inside, so that the colours couldn’t be seen from the inside.
I made the card below for my uncle. I am really loving the paper that I put behind this papercut (it’s not really paper, but for want of a better word, I’m going to call it paper.) I love how you can see the papercut from the inside as well as the outside. It shows that the paper is cut, rather than the design just being printed onto the card.
I hope you like these cards. If you follow me and are wondering what’s happening with the layered mandala, I will be posting progress photos of it soon.
