This is an anniversary card that I made for my grandparents. It is my original design and was handcut out of paper.
I found some paper at home to put behind the papercut (I think it originally was part of a flower arrangement). It’s partially see-through (a bit like tissue paper but with a more observable weave) and I thought it could look good behind the papercut. This paper worked really well, especially because you can see the papercut from the inside of the card. I like this, because it emphasises how the card is cut out rather than just printed to look like it’s cut out.
It took about three hours to cut out this card. I’m considering that I could sell some handmade cards on Etsy. Would any of you be interested in buying them?
